ANC to meet to discuss policy on charged officials

November 16, 2020

This comes after Ace Magashule’s arrest.

The secretary general of the ANC was recently arrested on charges of corruption and has already had his bail application hearing. The ANC top 6 will meet today to discuss the situation, according to reports. The party’s NEC will meet at the end of the month to draft a policy which will likely force charged officials to step down from their positions. However, Magashule is likely to stay on as secretary general of the ANC seeing as no such policy exists at the moment.
