Biden imposes travel ban against South Africa

January 26, 2021

This is part of his strategy to combat COVID-19 in the USA.

It’s a sad day for those who had planned a trip to the USA. Joe Biden has announced that a new travel ban against South Africa will be imposed from Saturday as a preventative measure to protect against the spread of COVID-19. The ban comes as a result of the new strain of the virus that has developed in South Africa. Among the list of prohibited countries, 26 European destinations are also listed as banned for travel to and from the USA. Joe Biden has launched the travel bans as part of his strategy to combat the coronavirus in the United States. His predecessor, Donald Trump, did not impose such far-reaching regulations during his time in office.
