According to the actor, this was all part of the plan for his character and that it is not a surprise move by the producers at all. Apparently, the second season of Bridgerton will focus on Anthony’s love life, which was one of the major unresolved issues in the final episode of season one. The cast and crew are set to resume production in the middle of 2021. Fans might have to wait until 2022 to see the new season, though.
