BATSA is the biggest manufacturer of cigarettes in the country and they will be asking the court to declare the ongoing prohibition on the sale of tobacco products unconstitutional. The matter is set down to be heard early in the week and will likely continue for at least a few days. BATSA is hoping that judgement will be handed down swiftly as they believe it is a matter of urgency to get clarity on the case.
