Final round of emergency UIF payments start today

Business still closed or affected by the coronavirus can apply for payouts.

Applications for the final round of the UIF’s Covid-19 Temporary Employer-Employee Relief Scheme start on Monday, 23 November. The payouts will cover the month to 15 October. Employees whose companies must still remain closed, or who weren’t allowed to work due to comorbidities, will be covered.
