Apparently, it is aimed at those who prefer taking their own pillows with them when travelling (which they won’t be doing a lot of in 2020…).
Gucci has created a luxury pillow holder, complete with a 100% cotton pillow by the luxury label. Black leather straps hold a pillow encased in a pale blue Double G stripe fabric case in place, allowing for both comfort and style on the go. It is questionable is this item will be a hit, seeing as it is aimed at frequent travellers. The coronavirus pandemic is, of course, curbing people’s movements a lot, which means travelling is not happening while most countries are in some sort of lockdown. The pillow holder cost $3 000 (R55K) and can be ordered on Gucci’s site.
