Kanye West is now running for president in the US elections (Subline) He made the announcement on Twitter over the weekend. Previously, at the MTV Music Awards in 2015, Kanye vowed that he would run in 2020 and he seemed to have kept his word. In his announcement, he said that the USA needed God to unify vision and build the future. Other celebs, like Elon Musk, congratulated Kanye on his announcement. It is not yet clear for which party Kanye will be campaigning under or if he will be an independent candidate. Many political commentators in the USA have predicted that his campaign won’t be very successful, but only time will tell.
