Mswane is 24-years old and hails from KwaZulu-Natal. She is a model, dancer and the proud holder of a Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Pretoria.

In previous interviews ahead of the Miss SA event, Mswane said that she is confident that she has the compassion, tenacity and confidence to hold the coveted title of Miss South Africa. She added that she has a willingness to learn and grow, which further makes her the ideal candidate for the role.

After being announced as the winner of the pageant, Mswane was overwhelmed with joy. In post-show interviews, she said that she started crying because she was shocked by the blessing she has received.

“I don’t even know where to start. My heart is filled with so much gratitude. I’m so appreciative. Thank you,” she said.

On social media, fans approved of Mswane’s victory, saying she is “phenomenal” and “magnificent”.

Fans were particularly impressed by her performance during the Q&A sessions in the show – arguably one of the most difficult parts of the whole competition.

With elections are coming up, the judges asked her what she’s looking for in the country’s next leader.

“Somebody who is self-aware, very accountable and encourages critical thinking, innovation and action, but most importantly prioritises the personal development of every person in SA,” she replied confidently.
