The platform documents dance culture in South Africa.
Andile Mathobela is a local entrepreneur who recently launched a brand-new platform, thejournalistdj.com. The platform is a digital video magazine that documents the rise of dance culture in South Africa. The platform is specifically aimed at preserving house music, which has been around since the 90’s. Mathobela created the platform because he believes that the future is digital and the go-to place for people looking to learn more about trends and the like. The website will also be a place where upcoming artists can share their work and engage with fans.
