Shudufhadzo Musida was crowned on Saturday.
The newly crowned Miss South Africa, Shudufhadzo Musida, says that she will put the focus on mental health during her reign. According to Musida, the COVID-19 pandemic has worsened stigmas that already exist around mental illness. During the next year, she will work on various campaigns to break these stigmas and to educate people on the fact that it is okay to seek help and to feel overwhelmed, especially when the world is facing a pandemic.
