There are nine classics that can be streamed for free on the app right now.
Spotify is testing out audiobooks on its platform. They have recently released 9 classic novels in audiobook format on their app. The books are divided into chapters and are narrated by celebrities like Hilary Swank and Forest Whitaker. The books include novels like “Frankenstein” and “American Slave”. All these works are in the public domain. This means Spotify does not need to pay to license them before recording their own versions.
