The drink is made from instant coffee, hot water and sugar that gets mixed together until a rich, creamy substance forms. The idea is then to add some milk to a glass and scoop the whipped coffee on top of it, creating an interesting caffeine-drink. The trend started on TikTok and soon skyrocketed across the globe. People are also now making whipped matcha in the same way.
