We’ve all been there – ordered a large pizza because you felt super hungry, but you barely finished half of it. Usually, you’d just close the lid of the box and leave the box on the counter or in the oven until the next morning (breakfast, yummy!).
However, all pizza boxes have a nifty way of storing leftover pizza while saving space. Yes, that’s right. You have been storing pizza wrong for most of your life.
A TikTok user, Nate Hunter has, however, saved us all from this mistake. In one of his most recent uploads, he takes a pizza box and shows us this hack.
Basically, you take the top of the box off completely. On the sides of the base part of the box, there are fins you can remove. Once this is done, you have drastically reduced the size of the box.
You have also created a kind of design where the tiny box can now easily be folded and closed, thereby being the perfect size for a few leftover slices!
Apparently, all pizza boxes resemble the same design so it should, at least in theory, be possible to do this with any pizza box, no matter where you order from.
