He created the rap song just before the inauguration of Joe Biden.
It seems like Macklemore had a lot on his mind when it came to the inauguration of Joe Biden this week.
So much, in fact, that he decided to head into his studio to create a new beat called “Trump’s Over”.
This freestyle hit is a scathing commentary on Trump’s presidency. Macklemore also doesn’t shy away from throwing insults to Trump supporters, while rejoicing in the fact that Joe Biden, who he supports, is now in office. Further to this, he tackled topics like BLM, police violence and environmental issues all in the two and a half minute recording.
