Spotify lifts 10,000 song cap on streaming music library

June 4, 2020

Now, users can save and like an unlimited number of tracks.

Usually, Spotify users could only save 10 000 tracks in a playlist. Many users have, however, complained about this and asked the platform to remove this restriction. Is a user tries to save more than 10 000 songs they would get an error message telling them to first delete some songs from their collection before being allowed to save new items. Now, Spotify has removed these restrictions. Users on both the free and premium tiers of the music streaming service can now save and like an uncapped amount of songs.
