This is to keep up with the sudden surge in online shopping due to Covid-19.
Amazon says that they are seeing a significant increase in the number of online shopping transactions amidst the coronavirus outbreak. Their labour force simply can’t keep up with orders. Although these positions are mainly in the USA, the new employees will also assist in making sure that international shipments are processed efficiently.
