More details about how these added services will work will still be announced.
DStv has seen almost 100 000 subscribers cancel or downgrade their premium subscription during the lockdown. DStv Premium is much more expensive than streaming services, like Netflix or Amazon Prime. In a bid to save this situation and maintain subscribers, DStv has signed a deal with both Netflix and Amazon to integrate the streaming services with their new Explora device. This means that for one price, subscribers can get DStv, Netflix and Amazon Prime. Details as to pricing and how these services will be accessed are yet to be announced.
