In a bold new move, Facebook has changed its ads policies to ban anti-vaxx ads. These are all ads that are geared towards encouraging people to not go for vaccinations or to give their children vaccines. “Our goal is to help messages about the safety and efficacy of vaccines reach a broad group of people, while prohibiting ads with misinformation that could harm public health efforts,” Facebook said in a recent blog post on this decision. Political ads in vaccination, which is those aimed at influencing laws and regulations, will still be allowed.
