It will be a safe online environment for younger children.
Facebook, and in particular, Instagram, have been under fire recently for the lack of safety features it offers when it comes to keeping younger users safe. Unfortunately, predators are everywhere on these platforms, often targeting the most unsuspecting users. In a bid to combat this, Facebook is reportedly working on a new Instagram-like app for children under the age of 13. The app is being developed with the help of the lead who developed YouTube Kids. The new platform will offer a safe online environment for children. The app will have advanced privacy protection and age verification methods to keep it adult-free.
