TikTok has announced that it won’t be allowing ads that concern weight loss products on their platform anymore. TikTok said in a statement that it will also tighten restrictions on ads that “promote a harmful or negative body image.” TikTok’s new restrictions come after users have reported seeing videos appear on their “For You” pages that appeared to glorify eating disorders.
