Uber is testing self-driving cars in San Francisco. Their testing is allowed with very strict conditions.
They may only operate two self-driving cars in the city and the may not run them during the evening. At the moment, these cars won’t pick up passengers. But they will be driving around in the city autonomously. The idea of this test is to allow the AI features of their self-driving cars to learn the road conditions of the area.
