This includes adding contacts by scanning QR codes, animated stickers and expanded video calling capabilities.
WhatsApp has released a video to announce some exciting new features that are coming to the instant messaging app. One of the highlights is the ability to add friends to your contact list by scanning their unique QR code. WhatsApp will now also be supporting animated stickers which you can send to your friends in messages. When doing video calls on WhatsApp, you can also now expand one person’s video feed, where you previously had to view all feeds at the same time, in the same size. WhatsApp’s computer program will now also have a dark mode, which many Apple users are excited about. Be sure to update your WhatsApp as soon as it becomes available!
